Mosteiro de Tibães: photographic exhibit

From July 12th to December 31st it is open to the public a photographic exhibit in the Tibães Monastery marking the 25th aniversary of its acquisition from the portuguese state. The exhibit aims to highlight the major changes that occurred in the Monastery in recent decades, from the different perspectives of Ângela Mendes Ferreira, Luís Ferreira Alves, Nelson d'Aires, Tito Mouras e José Manuel Bacelar. The opening session will be attended by the Secretary of State for Culture, Francisco José Viegas, and the Northern Region Culture Director, Paula Silva.
The access to the exhibit is free and has the support of Metatheke, which developed to the Northern Region Culture Direction a Photographic Archive. The collection of the Tibães Monastery can be viewed here: drcnweb.metatheke.com.
